







The village of Valluerca lies in a concealed hollow on hilly ground, surrounded by small thickly wooded promontories. Its mean height above sea level is 763 metres .
• Santa María Parish Church
The parish church is dedicated to the Asunción de Nuestra Señora. It has a single nave, with half rise vault, semi-circular apse containing a small window and whose lintel is decorated with semi-circular bands bearing different motifs. The original three-space belfry has a more recent addition in the form of a voluminous body converting it into a tower. The priest’s house which adjoins the small, old church is of similar characteristics to other houses in the vicinity .

There are two sets of basic services:
The old fountain consists of a body whose lower part contains three water spouts set on three faces, while the upper body is in the form of a pyramidal trunk with the edges rounded off. It dates back to 1863.
The modern set dates from 1964.
